Millicent Campbell is a Speech-Language Pathologist, spoken word artist, and writer from Houston, TX. She created Millispeaks, LLC as an extension of her desire to help others express themselves creatively. Millicent is the author of two self-guided journals: The Sun Looks Good on You, and Love in this Skin. Both journals are comprised of quotes, questions, and personal anecdotes to help readers on their personal journeys. Millicent is also the author of Cotton and Cornrows, a collection of poetry that explores themes of race, gender, faith, and love that lie inside all of us.
Millicent hopes to inspire, challenge, and empower others with her writings and spoken word poetry. She believes that writing with truth and transparency leads to a transformed life.
